I am currently running a Kickstarter campaign to combine all 100+ PDFs of my Super Powered Legends universe into a single physical book! The campaign is currently FUNDED and has hit several stretch goals.

I’m hoping to knock down several more!

I just need YOUR HELP to donate to the campaign and spread the word. Follow the link to the Kickstarter campaign and please donate just $1. That’s all I ask. Then spread the word to your friends, family, and followers on social media and have them donate $1.

If all 550+ DeviantArt followers did this, we’d break down the next stretch goal. Add in my 600+ Facebook followers and 264 of my Tumblr followers, and we’d break down multiple stretch goals! Just $1 and sharing the link is all I ask to help support my Kickstarter.

Be a superhero!

So, I had been debating starting a new Patreon strictly for the production of stock art. But then I thought of another way to do it. This way, I don't have to keep track of multiple Patreon campaigns.

NEW TIER: $20/month
At the end of each month, I will collect the incidental art I draw for "myself" during the course of the month into a PDF file and provide it for you to use as stock art.

I've been noticing an increase in Watchers recently. Welcome, all! I hope you continue to enjoy what you see of my work. As always, I welcome comments and critiques.

If you would like to support me financially, while I am not currently accepting any new commissions (that should change in about a month, tho), I do have a Patreon campaign. Please help support the arts! Even if all you can afford is $1 a month (that is a total of just $12 a year, your support is appreciated.

For those of you who like to wait until the last moment to pledge to a Kickstarter... well.. this is it! Today is the very LAST DAY you can pledge to the Book of Passion Kickstarter!

It looks like we are about to knock down another stretch goal, and I hope we can make the next two before the campaign ends.

www.kickstarter.com/projects/9…
The Book of Passion Kickstarter campaign is now live! Sign up today to enhance your 3.75 campaign with rules for romance; including feats, class archetypes, spells, traits, and more!

www.kickstarter.com/projects/9…

The Book of Passion, by authors Will Wells and Margherita Tramontano, adds role-playing rules for love and sex to your OGL 3.75 campaign. Long-time game designer/editor/developer, Christina Stiles, will publish the book via Misfit Studios. The 208-page book will reflect the most recently available 3.75 classes from the rule set's main publisher, if stretch goals are met.

Table of Contents

1. Rules for Sex
2. Class Options (Base)
3. Feats and Traits
4. Pregnancy
5. Magic
6. Sexual Societies
7. Sex and Religion
8. Appendices
9. OGL Information

This project is to publish a color PDF/hardcover of the book, ensuring payment for the authors, developer, artists, and layout person. The book's included artwork will depict nudity and sexual situations. The book supports a diverse look at the subject matter, meaning it is not strictly aimed at a heterosexual audience; it is LGBTQ friendly.

Other than a handful of pieces for my Patreon supporters, I have no current commissions on my list! *GASP*

So I am officially declaring that COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! (it has been so long since I have had a chance to say that!)

1/4-page (single character) = $40 black and white / $50 color
1/2-page (1-4 characters with basic background) = $60 b&w / $85 color

Looking back over the year that had it's ups and downs, 2016 has been good to me. I made a lot of great art, made several new friends, and had a good time doing it.

Just so folks know, I went over all the art I have done this last year. It was insane! I have drawn 635 interior illustrations and 15 cover pieces over the course of 2016. This is both a good thing and a bad thing.

On one hand, I have been busy enough to keep myself fed and in a home. On the other hand, I have been keeping myself so busy that I have had little to no free time to enjoy my life. I spent most of 2016 at my computer, drawing. While this may sound like a dream, my waistline disagrees. I have easy added 30 pounds of fat on my body from being so inactive physically. That is something that absolutely has to change in my life.

So, as the New Year is upon us, my resolution is to "work smarter, not harder." I plan to have a daily schedule and stick to it, no matter what kind of massive projects I have looming over my head. I plan to make time for myself, to improve my mind with reading books, and improve my body with more exercise. I am going to start saying "No" to projects, as I now have the means to pick and choose what I work on.

And, as a final note, I am raising my commission prices, starting January 1, 2017.

1/4-page (single character) = $40 (black and white) / $50 (color)

1/2-page (multiple characters with basic background) = $60 (black and white) / $85 (color)

Full Page (multiple characters with background) = $125 (black and white) / $175 (color)

Cover (color only) = $275

I want to send out a special "Thank you!" to whomever provided me with a 1 month Core membership.

And, to all, please have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
As I have noticed many new followers watching me on DeviantArt these past few weeks, I would like to point out that I have a Patreon campaign to support my artistic endeavors. If you like my work, all I ask is that you consider supporting my Patreon with $1 a month (that's just $12 a year!) This will give you exclusive access to art projects I am working on months in advance of anyone else seeing them. Additionally, I am working on the occasional adult illustration that are available exclusively on my Patreon. No one else will ever see them!

So please go to my Patreon page and support the arts! www.patreon.com/jacobblackmon

As a note, I did the math and figured out that if everyone who followed me on DA and Facebook were to give me just $1 through my Patreon, I would no longer be living below the poverty line. So please consider that as well.
"We are pleased to announce that starting today, creators with the Adult Content flag (like mine) can accept payments from patrons using PayPal!"

Sign up today! Join my Patreon! Excessive exclamation points!!!

Welcome to the Dragonlands!

Or the island of the evil Doctor Hybrid. Or the bandit bestiary of the Crime Zoo. Or the Spirit Forest.

The point is, sometimes heroes end up in some super-strange places, and a GM may find himself with a sudden need for some super-weird stat blocks. No GM has time to write up every possible Demonic Guard of the Tyrant Sorcerer, band of giants from the Nine Realms of Valgard, or aberrant minion of Professor Atlantis.

Now with the Super Powered Bestiary, you don’t have to! We have stat blocks and descriptions of more than 200 monsters, plus numerous alternate versions, and four brand-new villains designed to make use of many of the creatures in this book. We include dozens of monsters, animals, angels, aberrations, dragons, undead, and giant bugs compatible with the 3rd Ed M&M rules. Obviously of great use to anyone running a fantasy-themed game with this ruleset, the Super Power Bestiary also provides options for more traditional supers and masked adventurer games! Whenever a GM wants the heroes have to face the angelic agents of the Eternal Judgement, or the alien rope-monsters crash landing in a saucer, or any encounter with creatures far from human, all the stats the GM needs for the encounter can easily be pulled from the Super Powered Bestiary!

Written and illustrated by Jacob Blackmon. Super Powered by M&M.

Coloring This Will Be Hell!

The Nine Hells Coloring Book takes a fairly grim topic… Hell itself… and makes it fun! Artist and author Jacob Blackmon presents his (monochrome) vision of the Nine Hells and some relevant background and Pathfinder Roleplaying game rules. But the main purpose here is to challenge those who think Hell is a GREAT topic for a coloring book to pick up their hues of choice, and create their OWN vision of the tints of damnation!

The Kickstarter campaign for the Super Powered Bestiary ends in 2 days! This tome of monsters is written for the 3rd edition of Mutants & Masterminds by Green Ronin Publishing. I wrote and illustrated the book, and it is being distributed by "The Gamefather" Owen KC Stephens of Rogue Genius Games, Paizo, and Green Ronin.

We've already hit several stretch goals, including a new forward by the creator of Mutants & Masterminds: Steve Kenson! We've also added new art to the book as well as a number of new monsters. I am hopeful to hit our current stretch goal (adding even more art!) before the campaign ends on Wednesday, January 6th.

If you love the Mutants & Masterminds rpg, superheroes, monsters, or gaming in general, please contribute to the kickstarter. Even if all you have to give is $1, it goes a long way to helping. And spread the word to friends who love tabletop gaming and rpgs. We are making this book so that all of you can enjoy the experience of having your hero punch a T-Rex in the face!

With the help from my editor Owen Stephens at Rogue Genius Games, we have launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Super Powered Bestiary. This 300+ page tome details over 180 monsters written for the Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition rpg. This book is written and illustrated by Yours Truly! I hope that you will pledge to fund the book. Even if all you can provide is $1, it is still appreciated. And please help spread the word of this Kickstarter to those who might be interested in having their superheroes fight monsters in the city streets!

I like to entice new patron with exclusive art available months in advance before anyone else sees it. I also have a few pieces exclusive to may Patrons, that no one else will ever see! This sweet deal can be yours for only $1 a month (that's just $12 a year)! Patrons who pledge more can get a new commissioned piece of art every month!
