STOCK ART!

1 min read

Are you an independent publisher in need of good art for your products? Youi should consider signing up to my Patreon at the $20 Stock Art level.

Each month, you will receive a license to use any incidental art I produce over the course of the month to use as stock art for your products.

Just this month, there are already 8 pieces in the potential stock art folder going out to supporters of this level.

Sign up now and, as one of my Patreon supporters, you can always make suggestions to add to my stock art list. If I don't already have it, I'll add it to my list as a future project.

Patreon

As many other artists do, I have a Patreon to support the creation of my art.

If you enjoy my work, and would like to contribute to its continued creation, just $1 a month gets you access to every illustration I post on Patreon. (And there is some art I post on Patreon that does not make it to my DA page! Hint hint...)

I and my friends at Fainting Goat Games have been playing the Valor Knights RPG by Bloat Games for several years. You can find our live plays on Youtube on the BAMF Podcast.

We are now creating 6 rpg adventures for the Valor Knights game!

And we need you!

If you enjoy games about robots from outer space who transform into vehicles or cassette tapes, please check out our Kickstarter. If you like what you see, maybe pledge. Even if all you have is $1, it goes to helping indie game creators. And that means a lot to us!

Best of all, if you can share this link on your social media, so those who enjoy games about transforming robots can help find us easier, that is appreciated as well!

Thank you all!

RIP Marc Curlee

1 min read

Today, March 2, 2021, one of my best friends, fellow artist, and roommate of 20+ years passed away. Marc Curlee -- also known as InputJack -- was inspirational to my art. I was only 19 when I first met him in 1996. We started hanging out and gaming together soon afterwards.

We are shared some art projects together, and collaborated a couple of times in our early years. But, mostly, gaming together was our combined passion. Marc was a fantastic player and a wonderful GM.

There will not be a day, as long as a live, where I will not think of him.

You can find his (mostly NSFW) art here: https://www.deviantart.com/inputjack

I have a Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/jacobblackmon

For those who are unaware, Patreon is a tool for which artist to collect money from people who like their art and for fans want to support artists they enjoy. Some fans might not be able to afford to buy commissions from their favorite artists, but they still have the means to financially support the artists they like with the donate of $1 or more each month.

And that's all I ask for my own Patreon. Just $1.

I have 1.3k followers on DeviantArt.

I have over 700 followers on Facebook.

I only have 41 fans who support me on Patreon.

Now, I am not saying "Give me your money!" I am merely saying, if you have the means, please support artists whose work you enjoy. Even if you don't pledge to MY Patreon campaign, there are many other artists out there who would appreciate your financial support. Art enriches all of our lives. And if there is an artist you like, and you have $1 a month to spare, please consider supporting the arts.
